Every day you get 1,440 of these – minutes – to invest, spend, or waste.  Even after using
over half of your daily minutes for sleeping, working, and eating you will still have a good
number remaining.  How will you use each day’s remaining minutes? Will you invest them
wisely to receive the best possible return?

Spending time in prayer and reading God’s word is time well spent.  God speaks of
“redeeming the time” (Ephesians 5:16).  That means to “buy it up” that is, make good use
of the time you have.  He says to do that because the days are evil.  Additionally, we know
by experience what James 4 tells us: life is short and time is fleeting.  How wise it is to
make good use of the precious time we have.

We are glad you have taken the time to visit our web site.  Our desire is to encourage
people to spend more time with God’s word.

You say you have little or no time for such things?  Can you spare a minute?   If you think
you can’t spare a minute then you are probably too busy and need to slow down.  Take a
minute to listen to the Minute With the Bible.  Hopefully, your thoughts will be stirred so
that you will want to spend more time with God’s word.

There are other opportunities on this site that will take longer than a minute, but again, it
will be time well spent.
A GOOD INVESTMENT
